Bob Christo (Hindi: बोब कà¥à¤°à¤¿à¤¸à¥à¤Ÿà¥‹, Urdu: بوب چرÙستو) is an Indian actor. Born in Australia, Bob Christo came to Bombay (now Mumbai) to meet Indian actress Parveen Babi, and also because he was waiting for a work permit to work in Muscat which required him to be out of Muscat. He got a chance to work in a negative role in a Hindi movie named Abdullah. Since then Bob Christo decided to stay in India and has done over 200 movies by his own admission. Bob Christo had a well built body and a shaved head, which helped him in getting all the roles in Hindi movies that required a white guy in a negative role. Tom Alter remains the only other Indian actor to have done so many roles as a foreigner who could speak fluent Hindi and did a wider variety of acting. Bob Christo was limited to the role of a foreigner who acted as a henchman or the villains sidekick or a British officer in period films.
